Everything about this page has always made me passionate and emotional, but for a time I wondered I should have even wrote this scene in and…after much deliberation, I wanted this scene here because of it’s importance and what this scene has to say. Obviously, Lifen should not be hitting Hideki at all, and she’s in the wrong here. While dealing with all her emotions and pain, she did something she shouldn’t ever do to someone she cares about. (Although, perhaps some of you might have already come to these conclusions from reading the context up until this point. Tackling heavy subjects and conflicts is a hard thing, and this whole chapter is so heavy, I always try to strive to do it in the best way I can, but I just don’t want anything to get misconstrued especially since there’s some things I’m just not talented enough to convey through a comic medium sometimes.)
