More in depth content warning:

Four Corners is a young adult oriented webcomic, but heavy themes are explored that may not be appropriate for all viewers under the age of 16. The rating is 16+ for: foul language, violence/occasional blood, mentioning of drugs and drug abuse. In chapter 7, there are depictions of racial discrimination/characters being transphobic and saying transphobic statements, however this is not treated within the narrative as being a positive action. Warnings are given in author comments as these pages progress in chapter 7.

About Boniae

I’m a comic artist, I develop visual novels and work part time as a library clerk. I wish I could make more time to read and watch all sorts of things that I love, but I’m usually stuck working on my own projects.

Sometimes Max writes for me

I started Four Corners because I was searching everywhere for a comic that featured two strong protagonists who stood on equal grounds, but instead of rivaling each other, actually worked together to defeat a common goal. More specifically, I really wanted to see a comic with 90s Japanese “yankii” (delinquent) culture, which was more prevalent in the 90s. It’s something I’m very oddly passionate about, and unfortunately, I think while making the comic I let my delinquency obsession overtake my soul. Now I’ve become the delinquent. But perhaps it’s been in me the whole time? I wear gaudy clothes and roam the streets with a metal bat. I squat in front of buildings and contemplate my lost soul.

Anyway, most delinquent stories I like are a little hard to find now since delinquent culture in Japan has evolved as the times have changed. (Pompadour hairstyles, perms, baggy pants, modified uniforms are now trends of the past…) I couldn’t find a story like Four Corners so I made it myself. Please enjoy it, it’s made with lots of love and I’m committed to seeing it to the end. Hope you enjoy the ride!
